Chevron responds to service station article

Chevron said maintenance to the Bulwer Park Service Station was a priority.

EDITOR – In response to the article published in Berea Mail on 23 December, Chevron South Africa confirms that Bulwer Park Service Station in Bulwer Road, Durban and which operates as a Caltex service station, was recently sold to a new retailer, Mr Cassim. Mr Cassim took occupation of the premises with effect from 1 December 2016.

During the course of routine maintenance prior to handover to Mr Cassim, Chevron South Africa identified that essential maintenance has to be performed at the site in order to meet safety and environmental standards imposed by law.

This maintenance will be undertaken as a priority and although the completion date has not been fully determined, the site will be returned to sustainable operations as soon as possible.
