EDITOR – It beggars belief that Musgrave Centre is coming under fire for charging a measly R6 for an hours parking.
Judging by the types of cars in the parkade and the well dressed shoppers in what is an upmarket centre surely the R6 is hardly going to make the customers penniless?
It reminds me of the recent television advertisement where a young girl proudly boasts that she drives out the parking area of her centre every hour and back in again to save some funds forgetting the personal time wasted and unnecessary wear and tear on the vehicle.
Perhaps the new parking policy will free up some parking spaces for the real customers.
