Remove the cell masts

A resident said she too is feeling the ill effects of cell masts erected in Glenwood.

EDITOR – I also feel strongly against the cell masts in the area and I have also gotten ill from them.

Instead of asking opinions of those living away from masts, the municipality should remove those masts which have been recently put up in Glenwood and other ratepaying suburbs.

If they want masts, put them up next to the municipal buildings, if they consider them harmless! Then municipal workers can choose to remain working there or leave their jobs and run away. Then the municipality can replace their staff until they see the problem.

If this is about the money, then soon Durban will become a ghost town and no one will be here to pay rates or anything else. How then will the municipality survive?

A lot of us are ‘sensitive’ and react to all electromagnetic radiation (cellphones, microwaves, computers, TV).

If as the municipality say they really do care about people, I suggest they remove all cell masts from the suburbs immediately.

If you want the support of ratepayers then do what’s good for their health.

Please consider Durbanites and remove the cell masts.
