Story gives me hope in finding my lost watch

A reader feels strongly that she will find her watch which she lost last year.

EDITOR – Reading the article in last week’s Berea Mail about the Good Samaritan who returned a woman’s lost watch at Windermere Centre, I was hoping I could have the same luck.

I lost my watch in May 2016, and it has been on my mind a lot recently, and I strongly feel like I will find it, especially after seeing this story.

I had been rushing the morning I lost it, and it might have been on my lap when I got out of the car at Davenport Centre, in the car park closest to Clark Road, and fallen on the ground.

It was a silver watch with a bracelet chain strap which had starfish, shells and dolphins on it. My children bought it for me from the Workshop in 1999 and it was an unusual watch, which meant a lot to me.

If anyone knows anything or picked it up at the time, I urge them to contact me on 031 205 9910 or 076 789 7270.
