EDITOR – My daughter accuses me on being on the negative side all the time about what’s happening today.
She is a teacher by the way and I, at the age of 70+, feel entitled to think the way I want. Let’s thus for once be positive to please her, and congratulate the Corporation for resuming, so quickly after last month’s disaster, the weekly collection of recyclables – bottles, cans, paper.
Also thumbs up for the design of the new transparent bag for bottles and cans and its yellow band.
Could not we use the same design, maybe a bit bigger for other collections.
They would be yellow band for bottles and cans, a purple one for paper and plastic, a green for garden refuse and a black one for house refuse.
Just positive thinking, yes!
