Close win for DHS staff

DHS matrics lost narrowly to a staff team on the cricket pitch last week.

THE 4th annual Durban High School staff versus matric leavers cricket game was played at the school recently. The purpose of the fixture was to build a relationship outside the classroom between staff and the boys. It is also a chance for the boys to get a glimpse of the talent of the coaches.

This fixture started with the staff playing the Ú14A side and progressed to the U15A and U16A before the final call was made to play the matric side as a farewell and thank you to them for playing cricket for their five years at DHS.

Once again, the DHS staff members remained unbeaten, however this year, the staff won by 6 runs which was one of the closest finishers in the four years they have played.
