Teams set for semi-finals
Tennis teams are ready for next week's semi-finals in the Tony Jackson Sports Night League.
THE round robin section of the Tony Jackson Sports Night League was completed at Westridge Tennis Stadium on Monday night.
Defending champions, Durban Speciality Chemicals finished top of group A when they beat Gamma 3-1. In the first semi-final taking place next Monday, DSC will take on surprise semi-finalists, Lynx Underwriting Managers who finished second in Group B when they defeated Scorpions 4-0.
The other semi-final will take place between Group B winners, PowerAde and Group A runners-up Chase.
PowerAde guaranteed they finish top of Group B when they were far too good for former champions Sica's Guest House, PowerAde winning 4-0 while Chase ended 2nd in Group A with a 4-0 victory over Dunlop Sports.
The final result in Group A saw Ahmed Asmal Professional Accountants get their first win of the season with a 4-0 win over Space TV.
The last match in Group B had Tony Jackson Sports defeating Jaizen 4-0.
