Cricket season training starts

Cricket training sessions for seniors at Harlequins Cricket Club will start this weekend.

UMBILO Harlequins Cricket Club has entered one senior team in the KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union’s stream one challenge league, four senior sides in the Durban and District Cricket Union's Sunday leagues, one team in the Durban and District Cricket Union’s Saturday league, one U11 and one U13 team in the Durban and District Cricket Union’s Sunday morning youth leagues.

All senior teams will participate on Sunday afternoons with the exception of the first side which will compete in the all day 50 over format and the Saturday team on Saturday afternoons. Second team’s matches will be of 40 over duration and all others will continue with the 30 over format.

Training sessions for seniors will start at 9am on Saturday 30 August. All aspirant new members are welcome to join in and be part of the club’s quest for a successful campaign during the 2014-2015 cricket season. Coaching session times and dates for under elevens and under thirteens will announced soon.
