Glenwood hosts golf day

Help raise funds for Glenwood High School at its annual golf day this month.

Glenwood High School will host its annual golf day on Friday 17 October at Royal Durban Golf Club and hopes to build on the success of last year’s event.

Get involved by entering a four ball, sponsoring a hole or donating prizes for the day. A four ball team costs R400 per player, which includes green fees and dinner at the prize giving. Tea or green sponsorship is R1200 on the 1st and 10th tees and 9th and 18th holes. Remaining holes and tees are R750.

Prize sponsorship should be in identical 4s if possible from vouchers to toasters. For the generous donation of prizes or vouchers, Glenwood will place an advert of your company in its official golf day programme.

Glenwood is hoping to accommodate a field of 152 players made up of corporate teams, parents, Old Boys and friends of Glenwood. All money raised will be directed to the Glenwood Educational Trust to help Glenwood to continue to provide a quality education for boys.

Golf carts are available for hire through the Pro Shop at R240 per cart for 18 holes. All bookings are to be made through the Pro Shop on 031 309 2581.

Those who are interested in a 4 ball can contact Charmaine Rautenbach on 031 274 4418 (rautenb@glenwoodhighschool.co.za) and Hannelie Erasmus on 031 205 5241 (erasmsh@glenwoodhighschool.co.za) if wanting to donate prizes.
