Gary Henwood-Fox spreads the seeds of hope through the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon 2014.

RUNNER, Gary Henwood-Fox, will be taking on the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon 2014 this coming week, in support of charity.

Gary will covering the 159Miles4Marrow for The Sunflower Fund between 30 October and 9 November.

The South African Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon is a unique race filled with adventure and determination. Set in the beautiful and contrasting landscape of the Northern Cape's “Green Kalahari”, it is a self-sufficiency run held over six legs in seven days covering 256 kilometers (159 miles) in extreme conditions.

The community is encouraged to support Gary as he embarks on his 159Miles4Marrow fundraising and awareness campaign by sponsoring him per mile covered or through a discretionary donation.
