Freedom MTB race

GET your entries in for the Marriott Freedom Race on 28/29 March.

The race is KZN’s new and unique two day stage MTB race for teams of two, which will make use of exclusive non-technical routes along the KZN North Coast, with exciting race villages at the end of each day’s stage.

2015 will be the 25th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s release from prison and this event looks to epitomise that historical heritage by showcasing KZN’s beautifully scenic countryside, the Heritage Route and continuing the celebration of freedom in South Africa. The Freedom Race will give teams a unique cultural and historical experience culminating in an exciting finish on the Suncoast Sundeck.

Teams will take on 55km per day, and in the team and family Freedom Race, riders can take on 30km in an individual MTB race on Sunday 30 March.

Early bird cost is R1900 per team and for the individual entry free for the family race, cost is R130.
