DHS thrashes Kearsney
Durban High School basketball players brought Kearsney College to its knees during a game at the weekend.

KEARSNEY travelled to DHS for the second match of the season at the weekend, and in hot and dry conditions were given a basketball lesson by a much more athletic and aggressive team.
Kearsney players were well into the game in the first quarter, only trailing by six points in spite of the loss of their captain and talisman, Albert Ojo-Aramokudu, due to a twisted ankle. Kearsney was not able to capitalise on scoring opportunities and they drifted further back from their opponents.
The athleticism and speed of the DHS players was too much for the Kearsney team and they were handed their worst defeat in a while.
DHS took the win, with the team scoring 66 to Kearsney's 33.
