RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 3 June: winners: Clive du Plooy and Willie Wanless with +20; runners up: Jimmy van Rooyen, Charles and Mervyn Barrett with + 8; the raffle was won by Tubby Hager.

Results of the Men’s Inter Club League played on Saturday 6 June: 1st team 5-0 at home to Winkelspruit A; 2nd team 5-0 at home to Woodlands A.

Upcoming events: Saturday 13 June: Men’s Inter Club League round 8 at 1.30pm; 1st team home to Sherwood A; 2nd team -away to Wanderers D”

Tuesday 16 June: Fun day of bowls. All welcome. Dress casual with flat shoes. Cost R25 per person which includes tea/coffee and sandwiches.

Music and lots of prizes. Bring and braai after bowls.

Inter Club League: Well done to the ladies who narrowly lost winning Section 4 by going down 2-3 vs Sherwood thereby ending 2nd.

Men's Inter Club 1st team 2-5 vs Amanzimtoti, 2nd team 2-5 vs Ridley Park, 3rd team 3-2 vs Westville BC D.

SpecSavers Glenwood sponsored PRO 10 winners: 1st Peter Hean and Arthur Canham 6+84, 2nd Tommy Potgieter and Mo Morrison 6+72, 3rd Dion Audie and Paul White 6+64, combined 4th Craig Worst and Nick Home and Trevor Phillips and Jay Trilakdharee 6+60. Session winners: 1st Steve van Rooyen and Dave Le Roux, 2nd Belinda Steffens and Kerry Anne-Perry, 3rd Alex Morrison and Nic Cambitzis.

Upcoming events: Friday mufti at 4pm, all welcome, followed by members draw at 6pm and live music by Toppie and Poppie.

Saturday 1.30pm Men's Inter-club League, all three teams at home. Tuesday 1.30pm, Mixed Drawn Trips, all bowlers welcome, prizes for 1st and 2nd places.
