KZN represented at Softball World Cup

The tournament runs from 22 February until 1 March.

TWO of KZN’s Star Junior Softball players, Mathew Parkinson and Troy Botha are currently representing South Africa at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U18 Softball World Cup in New Zealand.

The tournament runs from 22 February until 1 March and all games are live streamed and available after they are played on YouTube: www.youtube.com/WBSC.

The latest fixtures in the Ethekwini Softball League saw 57 runs scored in the Major League Matches.

Men’s Division Results: Cardinals beat Cubs 20 – 0, Royals and Barracuda drew 5 – 5; Women’s Division Results: Warriors beat Panthers 16 – 4, Vipers beat Squirrels 7 – 0.

Major League Matches are played every Thursday night under floodlights at Queensmead from 6pm.
