Journeying On live
Talented composer and lyricist Sihle Zungu will perform in Durban.
SIHLE Zungu presents Journeying On live CD launch on Wednesday 5 March at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music, UKZN Howard College, Durban at 5.30pm and on Saturday 8 March at KZNSA Gallery, 166 Bulwer Road, Glenwood at 7pm.
Journeying On is an offering by young, talented composer and lyricist Sihle Zungu, who brought some of Durban’s most talented young and highly skilled jazz musicians together to perform his compositions. His music has a basis of jazz, but also reggae and gospel influences. He brings you his unique perspective and experience through love songs, social awareness songs and spiritual songs.
Cost for the launch at UKZN is R40, R20 for pensioners and R15 for students. Cost for the event at KZNSA is R60 excluding a CD and R120 including a CD. Contact 031 277 1705 to book.
