Friday 4 April
Dear Breeder opens at the Rhumbelow Theatre at 8pm. Directed by Iain ‘Ewok’ Robinson, written and performed by Karen Logan and Kasia Vosloo, it’s a “kid’s show” about adults that’s not for kids. Show runs till Sunday 6 April, with 3pm and 6.30pm shows on Sunday.
One of the most successful shows in South African showbiz, A Handful of Keys with Ian von Memerty and Roelof Colyn, returns to Durban for a run at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre until 27 April. Shows run from Tuesday to Saturday from 8pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm.
Comedian Robbie Collins performs the opening of Camden 031, a new bistro and comedy club in Morningside at 8pm.
Don’t miss Late Night Comedy with Carvin Goldstone at the Catalina Theatre at 10 pm. Line-up also includes Jem Atkins and Liam Johns.
Durban rock band The Reals play at LIVE – The Venue from 7.30pm
Saturday 5 April
The Winston Pub in Glenwood will host the Mystery Girls album launch with Bad Murphy and Buckshot supporting from 8pm.
LIVE – The Venue hosts the album launch party for Wrestlerish with support by December Streets and Young from 8pm.
Sunday 6 April
Lindiwe Maxolo Quintet will play at the Rainbow Restaurant & Jazz Club from 1pm.
Old Mutual Music at The Lake presents Mi Casa supported by The Muffinz at the Durban Botanic Gardens starting at 1pm.
