THE Centre for Jazz and Popular Music presents folk/Americana songstress, Jaspar Lepak on Tuesday 22 April at 6pm.
Lapek is travelling all the way from her current home in Seattle, Washington, to debut her new album. Special Guests include Kale Lepak (accordion and harmonies) and Richard Haslop (mandolin and dobro).
No stranger to South Africa, Lepak lived in Durban with her husband Kale from 2009 to 2011. During that time, she performed on some of KZN’s premier stages including Splashy Fen, White Mountain Music Festival, and the Barnyard Theatre. She also recorded and released her sixth album Forgiving Wind.
The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music (CJPM) is at Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus.
