The FNB Whisky Live Showroom came to Durban over the weekend allowing fans of the golden liquid to enjoy a boutique-style tasting event to share the spirit of whisky at Suncoast.
CONNOISSEURS of whisky were in for a treat over the weekend when the FNB Whisky Live Showroom tasting event at Suncoast set the scene for some the world’s finest whiskies.
The Showroom introduced fans of the dram to some noteworthy whiskies set to become firm favourites among local palates.
With a number of exciting new expressions for whisky lovers to taste and purchase, along with a broad range of well-loved and familiar favourites.
From firm favourites like Johnnie Walker’s full range of Red, Black, Gold, Platinum and Blue Label blends,
offering visitors the opportunity to experience the different expressions in the context of its Flavour Wheel to Kavalan, The Glenlivet, Bains Cape Mountain Whisky, a selection form the Brandhouse portfolio, Balblair, The Balvenie and Glenfiddich among others, making it possible for fans and newcomers of the precious dram to sample and purchase their favourite whiskies in an exclusive setting.
Black Bottle, a daringly bold blend of all the renowned single malts from the Islay balanced by the finest Highland, Lowland and Speyside malt and grain whiskies, was available for tasting with Keeper of the Quaich Pierre Meintjies ready to help with whisky queries.
