RAINBOW Restaurant opens its doors on this first day of youth month to a top quality show featuring international and local beat-boxers, rappers and a deejay.
Unique in their kind, Under Kontrol is a French combo made up of four beat boxers named MicFlow, Mr Lips, Tiko and Fayabraz. They will perform at Rainbow Restaurant on Sunday 1 June at 23 Stanfield Lane, Pinetown.
Beatbox Team World Champions in 2009, the four activists have since then been involved in multiple on stage and off stage collaborations with Soweto Kinch, Laurent Garnier, Bernard Purdie, to name a few – the quartet is always looking for new sounds and encounters.
Live, all songs of the quartet become real scenes with several atmospheres supported by a light show calibrated to the millimeter! Impressive zygotic acrobatics and triple rhythmic somersaults ensure a bluffing and explosive performance.
Durban’s own talent will also feature. iSupport brings you five local artists Clara T, Manelis, Dane Stops, Drum Kit and DJ 2daXha.
