Orchestra hits the hire wire

CLASSICAL music fans are in for a thrilling spectacle of sound and high flying artistry when the KZN Philharmonic presents Cirque de la Symphonie on Saturday 14 June at the Playhouse Opera Theatre.

The rich sounds of the orchestra, under the baton of conductor Theodore Kuchar, combined with the magical cirque acrobatics will definitely take your breath away.

The programme includes favourites from Bizet’s Carmen, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, Dvorak, Bernstein, Shostakovich and many more while the audience is bedazzled by aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers and strongmen.
