Strings quartet for Friends’ recital
KZNPO members will perform at the next Friends of Music recital.
Friends of Music will host the KZNPO String Quartet on 24 June at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban at 7.45pm.
The string quartet should make this a stunning and unusual recital. Performing will be Johanna Frankel, concert master, Violetta Osorhean, associate concert master, David Snaith, principal viola player, Boris Kerimov, prinicipal cellist, Sorin Osorhean, principal French horn, and Tzanko Tzankov on French horn. The Prelude performer will be a cello student at the Durban Music School, Monde Ngwane.
Tickets are R60 for members, R70 for visitors and R20 for orchestral members and students.
