World Cup Fanfest at Gateway
Enjoy the atmosphere of the football world cup at a Fanfest at Gateway's Wavehouse.
THE 2014 FIFA World Cup is here, and before it ends some Brazilian World Cup Fever and action will be brought to the Wavehouse at Gateway Theatre of Shopping on 12 and 13 July from 11am to 11pm.
Enter a team for beach volleyball or soccer, winners walk away with R5000 in cash. There will be sport celebrities present to meet and greet visitors each day as well, so carry your cameras. A Jumping Jack corner will be set up with trampolines, inflatables, jumping castles and an obstacle course for fun for everyone.
Prior to kick off everyday, the Rio carnival dancers will give a dance lesson to the audience. Every time a goal is scored during the semi finals and finals, members of the audience that get up and do the dance will walk away with fantastic giveaways.
Entrance is free, however VIP packages are available.
