Durban men’s choir fundraiser
The community is encouraged to support the Umbilo Methodist Church's fundraising concert with the Durban Men's Choir.
DURBAN Men's Choir will entertain audiences at Umbilo Methodist Church on Sunday 28 September from 2pm.
The Durban Men's Choir has been in existence since 1971 and has over this period of time entertained and given much joy to all who have listened to and watched the choir perform.
The choir is a non-profit organisation and performs between 20 and 25 concerts per year, and consists of, on average, 38 members (all amateurs) from all walks of life. The choir's musical director and conductor is the multi-talented Norraine Swanby.
Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and help raise funds for the Umbilo Methodist Church.
Once a year the choir performs for free at the church, to help the church raise much-needed funds.
Tea and refreshments will be served during the interval. Cost is R40 for adults and R20 for pensioners and children under 12.
