Swedish composer for jazz centre

Swedish composer and musician, Dror Feiler, will perform at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music at UKZN.

THE Palestine Festival South Africa (Palfest) in collaboration with UKZN Centre for Jazz presents Dror Feiler, Swedish composer and musician in concert on 26 May.

The Swedish jazz musician, composer, performer, activist and visual artist will be touring South Africa from 24 to 31 May and is arriving on our shores as a leading campaigner for the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), an international activist peaceful initiative to break through the Israeli blockade on Gaza.

His programme will include various multi-dimensional arts workshops, public engagements and meetings in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

On Tuesday 26 May Dror will participate in a jazz workshop at the UKZN Centre for Jazz, and will be joined by Burton Naidoo and the UKZN Storytellers. This meeting of talents will be capped off by a live performance at the UKZN Centre for Jazz at 6pm.
