The funny side of fatherhood

Chris Forrest will share his fatherhood highs and lows in “Who’s Your Daddy” at Sibaya.

SA’s deadpan face of comedy – Chris Forrest – shares the funny side of fatherhood at the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom on 6 June.

Audiences can expect up to the minute laughs as Forrest shares his experiences with becoming a father, from pregnancy to the birth to looking after an infant. His show, “Who’s Your Daddy”, takes a hilarious look at what really happens when a baby arrives, and how to deal with it.

Often touted as South Africa’s answer to Steven Wright, the pokerfaced star of American stand-up, Forrest has been at the forefront of SA comedy for over a decade. Forrest is known for his unique, dry sense of humour and super-quick thinking.

Forrest is also the regular host of the King Size Comedy Shows, which attract crowds in excess of 3 000. He has graced the stage of top venues across the country – and the world – including the famous Lyric Theatre in West End London to huge acclaim.

That wasn’t his only international exposure. He was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Festival in 2003 and 2005, to sell-out crowds, and was given the opportunity to work at various comedyclubs in and around London.

Tickets to Forrest’s “Who’s Your Daddy” are available at Computicket and from the Sibaya Box Office at R120 per person. The show carries an age restriction of 13.
