The Royal Academy of Dance's annual showcase and fundraiser will be at the Playhouse next week.
RHYTHM and Dance, the Royal Academy of Dance's (KwaZulu-Natal) annual showcase and fundraiser, takes place on Saturday 20 June at The Opera Theatre at 3.30pm.
This year's event features 227 dancers aged five to 18 from 16 studios. A great diversity of dance are to be found in this showcase such as classical ballet, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, tap, jazz, musical theatre, Spanish and Celtic dance.
A portion of the funds raised go towards the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Graded Seminars to be held from 2 to 6 September in Durban, as well as the Bursary Awards on 15 November.
