Durban hosts Wedding Expo

THE Wedding Expo will be held in Durban for the first time at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 1 and 2 August.
The Wedding Expo promises brides to be that they will find everything from the perfect stationery, beautiful blooms and breath-taking wedding gowns to gorgeous jewellery, tantalising table décor and hedonistic honeymoons. Also on hand will be South Africa’s top wedding planners, photographers and caterers, each with a wealth of experience, expertise and advice on how to tailor your wedding to your individual needs.
New to this year’s expo is the ‘Make Me a Bride’ activation where lucky brides-to-be will be transformed into beautiful brides, resplendent with dazzling hair, makeup and a wonderful wedding gown. They’ll be given tips and advice the whole way through the process, and may even get to show off their new looks on a fashion ramp for all to see.
Additionally there will be inspiring daily fashion shows where visitors will get to sit in the front row and be mesmerised by the latest global bride and groom trends. Here they’ll get to experience everything from couture designers. Think of it as an inspiration-starter, an opportunity to start formulating the perfect look for the perfect day.
