THE Jazzy Rainbow, 93 Smiso Nkwanyana (Goble) Road, Durban, will host Durban's Top Jazz musicians on Friday 28 August.
Chloe Clark on vocals, Burton Naidoo on piano, Bruce Baker on drums and Ildo Nandje on double bass, will treat audiences with a few well-known standards and they will throw in a few exciting twists that will leave you wanting more.
Entrance is R50. Doors open at 7pm.
KEITH Bodsworth, Durban musician, is in hospital undergoing treatment for cancer. He is a flautist and is a popular performer at various venues in and around Durban.
In an effort to assist Keith with medical expenses a show featuring some of Durban’s well-known musicians will be at Zack’s, Wilson’s Wharf, on Sunday 30 August at 5pm.
The music will be “unplugged” and will feature Steve Fataar, Tiffany Sheppard, Antonio Ravell and Joanne Imrie, Ross Tapson, Aury Livingstone, Stefnie Perlman, Allan Mardon, Rene Tshiakanyi, Gary Nixon, Axel Batsch and more.

SOUTH Africa's up and coming star, whose voice is known from the hit song Back to the Beach, Kyle Deutsch, is using his talents to aid those in need, in his community.
Albert Bare and his family lost all when their home was gutted by a fire. Kyle will be hosting a Supper Theatre at Stetta Cafe, Hillcrest on Wednesday 2 September at 6.30pm, to raise funds for Albert and his family.
Tickets will be sold at R220, which includes a three course meal.
