Mafikizolo for lake concert
One of SA's popular music groups, Mafikizolo, will perform at Durban Botanic Gardens this October.
MAFIKIZOLO, one of South Africa’s favourite music groups, will perform in the Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert on Sunday, 18 October.
Mafikizolo will bring their trademark eclectic mix of Afro pop, kwela and marabi to the stage.
The Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert is likely to be one of the hottest tickets in Durban during October, so be sure to book your tickets early. Take cooler boxes, picnic baskets and blankets, or buy refreshments at the venue. Children will be kept entertained by the great activities at the Kidszone, while having the picturesque expanse of the botanical gardens at their disposal.
Gates open at 12.30pm for pre-sold tickets, which cost R140 for adults (available through www.webtickets.co.za), and at 1pm for on-the-day ticket sales, which cost R160. Children aged eight to 12 pay R60 and those under eight get in free. Mafikizolo take to the stage at 3.30pm.
