Arts Festival recognises people with disabilities

Art and business enterprises by people with disabilities will be showcased at the We Can Arts Festival.

THE We Can Arts Festival will commemorate and recognise the disabled from 3 to 5 December, which is observed internationally as a day that celebrates people with disabilities.

The festival, which will take place over three days, will showcase their extraordinary talents in the fields of arts and business.

The festival starts with an informative business and arts seminar on Thursday, 3 December at the Durban Playhouse from 9am to 4pm, along with a music concert and fashion show on Friday, 4 December at the Durban City hall starting at 6pm.

A SMME exhibition will start on Thursday, 3 December and will conclude on Saturday, 5 December at Church Walk in front of the Durban City hall from 9am to 4pm daily.

Disabled arts and entrepreneurs are encouraged to pre-book their spaces for the seminar and exhibition by calling 031 822 0470 or emailing, info@outrageconcepts.co.za. Book early as seats are limited. Tickets for the concert and fashion show are available at Computicket for R100.
