Invisible theme inspires artists
Get your artwork ready for this year's 2016 Annual Members' Exhibition: Invisible.
KZNSA members are finishing off their masterpieces for submission to the 2016 Annual Members' Exhibition where the theme is Invisible.
The exhibition runs from 26 January to 14 February, with the opening event and prizegiving on Tuesday, 26 January at 5.30pm. Works are to be submitted at the Gallery from 21 to 23 January, accompanied by a completed entry form. Submissions close at midday on Saturday 23 January and late entries will not be accepted. Submissions are limited to one work only.
Artists are encouraged to explore the theme in a very broad way – there are no restrictions as regards size or choice of mediums. Artists are urged to discuss any concerns with the gallery administrator that you feel may be a curatorial challenge such as scale, installations, projections, conceptual work and performance.
A panel of judges will award the Joan Emmanuel Floating Trophy for the best entry and other prizes. Pick up an entry form at the gallery.
