Do something different on Valentine’s Day
Instead of a 'cheesy' Valentine's Day, go to Distillery 031 for an alternative Valentine’s Day experience.

FOR a non-cheesy Valentine’s Day, guaranteed free of polystyrene red hearts, white fluffy bears and sweet red bubbly, go to 031 Bar and Restaurant in Station Drive on Sunday 14 February.
“We’re going to be running a bit of an alternative Valentine’s day event at 031. We’re going to be mixing things up a bit and taking the romance (the cheesy type) out of Valentine’s day. Singles and couples and groups of friends are all most welcome – because we aren’t having any tables of two! We’re going to come up with some twisted cocktails and create a relaxed Sunday experience for people who don’t fancy over-priced dinners in venues full of other couples trying to stare lovingly into each other’s eyes,” said Durban entrepreneur, creative brand strategist and independent distiller, Andrew Rall.
The Alternative Valentine’s Day @ 031 takes place in the airy open restaurant and cocktail bar where there will be an inventive food menu to complement its revamped cocktail selection.
Distillery 031 in Durban’s Station Drive precinct, opened its doors late last year, offering a new range of independent, Durban distilled, limited-edition artisanal spirits. Durban entrepreneur, creative brand strategist and independent distiller, Andrew Rall, opened his distillery to the public and launching its range of artisanal spirits: vodka, spiced rum, gin, and absinthe, and complementary cordials, including all-natural tonic water.
