All girl comedy show
Catch talented Durban theatre personalities in the All Girl Comedy Jam at Sibaya Casino's iZulu Theatre this weekend.
DURBAN entertainer and comedian, Mervyn Pillay brings together four talented Durban theatre personalities for the All Girls Comedy Jam at Sibaya Casino’s iZulu Theatre this weekend, 27 and 28 May.
The Comedy Jam will be a night of stand-up comedy and comedy skits by Samantha Govender, Kajal Maharaj, Shika Budhoo and Derosha Moodley, artists who are no strangers to theatre-goers and audiences. The four young, dynamic and beautiful theatre celebrities have been on stage shows, television programs, movies and radio dramas.
“There have been many stand-up comedy shows in around Durban, which is fantastic but I think to introduce a mix of comedy skits and stand up will be fun and exciting. All of these performers are busy through-out the year with other projects, so co-coordinating them to perform on one show is definitely a coup,” said organiser of the event Mervyn Pillay.
The shows is a 8pm on Friday, 27 and Saturday, 28 May, at iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino. Tickets cost R120 and are available from Computicket.
