Romantic comedy delight at Seabrooke’s Theatre
A romantic comedy for stage proves that sometimes love isn't the answer to everything.

Blank canvas productions presents LOVE? Sometimes, it’s not the answer, at Seabrooke's Theatre, DHS, from 11 to 21 August.
The show follows Eliza (Carey Swan), a girl who’s just moved from life on a farm to a small town where she becomes a waitress at a quaint café called ‘Bake My Day.’ This poorly run café is owned by Lucy (Bronwyn Botha), a not-so-business-savvy 30-year-old who not only struggles to run the café but also herself. The café has only one other employee, Kathryn (Lerato Xaba), a sassy, no-nonsense waitress.
Eliza brings with her a sense of change and starts to bring new life to the café. With Eliza comes a struggling author, Adam (Richard Scates), a delusional actor, Devon (Casey Milledge), and Will (Maxim Birch), a grounded and smart mouthed guy with a heart of gold.
Follow these different stories of romance and tragedy and how they unfold in traditional 'rom-com' style.
Tickets are R100 for adults and R80 for students under 18 and seniors over 65.Tickets available at Webtickets. For block bookings, email: James@blankcanvasproductions.co.za or 078 019 5950.
