ERU loses second consecutive game

The men from Reiger Park had a tough start to the league

Reiger Park’s East Rand United (ERU) lost their second game in the Valke Peregrine League against Brakpan at the Bosman Stadium in Brakpan on May 29.

After the half-time score of 10 each, the home team managed to put points on the scoreboard to clinch a 31-15 win over ERU.

Brakpan’s Danny Keyser, who scored a try against the visitors, was named man of the match.

According to ERU captain Piet Mnguni, it was a solid and clean game, and Brakpan had “goeie gees”.
United’s next game will be on home turf against Springs on June 5.
