Dressed in Valentine’s colours of red and white, every year the little ones from Fairyland Crèche celebrate Love a Friend Day on this romantic day.
On this day the staff teach the toddlers to help the less fortunate by giving.
The children brought clothes, non-perishable food, baby products and lots of other goods to school, to be donated to the underprivileged.
There was also time for fun-and-games on Love a Friend Day, which, this year, was celebrated on February 12 by the crèche.
“We try to make it fun for the children and give them a gift to thank them for their loving donations,” said Nicole Levington.
The festivities were celebrated with a picnic and music.
There was also puppet show and Mickey and Minnie Mouse popped in to say ”hello” to the children.

“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream,” chanted the little ones from Fairyland Crèche.

The children were delighted with Minnie Mouse’s visit.
The crèche was grateful for the donations made by the little ones for the less fortunate, as well as water for the drought-stricken areas.
