The City of Ekurhuleni has opened the door of its new drive-through vehicle licence disc renewal facility in Springs.
The drive-through facility is located on Plantation Road at the Springs Civic Centre next to the clinic and started operating on March 8. It offers motorists the opportunity to renew their vehicle licence discs in the comfort of their own cars.
MMC for Community Safety Letlhogonolo Moseki said: “The facility would bring quicker access to vehicle licence renewal service for the community of Springs and surrounding areas.”
The metro also intends to expand the footprint of this service to communities that could not access such services conveniently.
Moseki pointed out the City had previously launched the same service in Katlehong, Duduza and Kwa-Thema to bring vehicle licensing services closer to where our communities reside.
