Major water shutdown planned for parts of Boksburg

Taps will run dry in your areas for planned maintenance.

Ward 32 councillor Marius de Vos warns residents in his constituency and some surrounding areas of a planned water shutdown for pipeline maintenance from 08:00 on May 6.
It’s unclear as to when water will be restored.
De Vos said the maintenance work is expected to last for hours, impacting a number of suburbs in and around the ward.

He pointed out that stationary and roaming water tankers will be made available in strategic points to reduce the impact on consumers, including schools and old age homes.
Affected areas are Sunward Park, Van Dyk Park, Freeway Park, Farrar Park, Libradene, Parkdene, Parkrand and the Boksburg CBD.
