Annedernive Brown (25) from Reiger Park is vying for the Miss Grand South Africa 2023 crown.
The beauty queen explained that Miss Grand South Africa stems from Miss Grand International. The pageant is looking for strong, beautiful women to represent countries globally by fulfilling duties through the advocacy of bringing peace and putting an end to war and violence.
“I entered Miss Grand South Africa because every day across the world, we face the war against poverty and inequality. The inequality gap is growing bigger. I want to use this platform to bring awareness to these socioeconomic issues.
“I want to uplift others by supporting and initiating educational and development projects to help alleviate poverty. I want to ensure equality and peace for mankind.
“I believe I embody strength, selflessness and confidence. All these are values required to be a Miss Outdoor Activities,“ said Annedernive.
