To maintain and run its facilities, the Parkrand Tennis Complex recently organised a quiz game night that attracted a large turnout and raised a substantial amount of funds.
Seventy people participated in teams of six, answering a series of questions posed by Theo Blaauw, the quiz master and coach at the facility.
“This is an annual fundraiser for the club. It was a fun night and we successfully raised R10,000.
“In addition to the quiz, the event also featured a raffle with attractive prizes up for grabs.”

Blaauw said the funds raised during the quiz night would be crucial in ensuring the continued operation and upkeep of the Parkrand Tennis Complex, which serves as a hub for tennis enthusiasts.
