Dawn Park SAPS celebrates excellence at year-end function

Dawn Park SAPS hosted a year-end function on November 15, at Dias88 in Sunward Park, celebrating excellence and bidding farewell to two esteemed colleagues who have been promoted to Crystal Park and Gauteng Provincial SAPS.

According to spokesperson for the station, Sergeant Nkemeleng Mabula, the event honoured outstanding members of the station with individual awards for their exceptional performance in various roles.

“These roles included best client service centre commander, investigating officer, administrative clerk and Vispol administration clerk.

“The CPF was also commended with an award for being the best performing structure, recognising their steadfast partnership in combating crime.”

Mabula said the function also marked the farewell of newly promoted Lieutenant Colonel Aaron Semelane and Captain Robert Seroka, who will soon take up roles at their respective new stations.

Lieutenant Colonel Sibushi Makgakga, the station commander, expressed immense pride in the team.

“The promotions and awards reflect the commitment, dedication and teamwork of our members. It is a testament to our motto, ‘Together We Can.’”

She also extended heartfelt wishes to the departing officers, saying: “You will forever be missed, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.”
