Senior golfers bring joy to Kuselo Children’s Home
They donated essential items for babies and toddlers like knitted jerseys, baby formula, blankets and clothing.
The ladies of the Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) spread joy and hope when they brought some Christmas cheer to the children of Kuselo Children’s Home in Boksburg North on November 28.
The senior golfers delivered an array of essential items for babies and toddlers including knitted jerseys, baby formula, blankets and clothing.
Through the organisation’s donation collection, they raised R5 750, which enabled them to buy additional necessities like nappies and food.
“Today, our generous ladies’ group brought joy to the Kuselo Children’s Home and Protection Service. Thank you to each and every one who kindly donated towards this worthy cause,” said ESWG president Charmaine Stone.
Stone said the highlight of their visit was participating in the children’s fire drill exercise and witnessing their bright smiles.
“It’s an honour to support this worthy cause. We look forward to many more years of partnership and making a difference in the lives of these precious children,” added Stone.
