Club celebrates karateka achievements

This year, all students who participated in grading passed successfully.

Lotus Karate Club is celebrating the achievements of its karateka who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout the year.

The club emphasises that simply participating in karate makes one a winner, as it instills values such as character perfection, faithfulness, respect for others and non-violence.

This year, all students who participated in grading passed successfully. The club also held a demonstration at Amakids and competed in three tournaments, securing a total of 13 medals: five silver, seven bronze and one participation medal.

Sensei Raveen Dayaram expressed immense pride in his students’ hard work and achievements, noting their commitment to maintaining high standards set by South African Shotokan Karate Academy (SASKA).

In recognition of their efforts, Lotus Karate Club rewards its students at the end of the year, reinforcing the belief that their dedication to training is commendable and contributes to their growth as individuals and members of society.
