Reiger Park SAPS host imbizo to focus on community safety
The community is encouraged to attend to address issues of community safety.

Reiger Park residents are invited to attend the first 2025 crime imbizo hosted by the Reiger Park SAPS.
The event will be held on January 18, at Bloom Spot Car Wash, Reiger Park, starting at 13:00.
According to Johannes Msimanga, spokesperson for the police station, the imbizo is a critical platform for fostering open dialogue between the police and the community.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the newly appointed station commander, CPF members and the anti-gang unit commander.
“This meeting is a chance for residents to engage directly with key figures in law enforcement and to raise their concerns about gang-related issues,” Msimanga explained.

He added that the event aims to strengthen collaboration between the police and the community in addressing crime and safety challenges.
The meeting will also include a question-and-answer session where community members can voice their concerns and seek clarity on pressing matters.
Msimanga encourages all residents to attend, emphasising the importance of community involvement in shaping effective crime-fighting strategies.
The Reiger Park SAPS looks forward to welcoming residents and working together to create a safer environment for all.
