Reiger Park athletes make school proud
The school's commitment to fostering athletic excellence was evident as its learners dominated various track and field events, proving to be formidable competitors among the participating schools.

Reiger Park Secondary School proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its young athletes after a remarkable performance at the Greater Boksburg Athletics Competition at the Germiston Stadium on February 21.
Seven talented learners secured 23 medals, showcasing their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship while competing with schools in and around Boksburg.
The school’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence was evident as its learners dominated various track and field events, proving to be formidable competitors among the participating schools.
According to chairperson Charona Louw, the school community is immensely proud of the learners’ achievements.
“These young athletes have demonstrated exceptional talent and perseverance.
“Their dedication to both their academics and sports is truly commendable and they have made Reiger Park Secondary School proud.
“Recognising their stellar performances, we bestowed top honours upon two of its standout athletes. Leshayden Primo was awarded the prestigious athletics sportswoman of the year, while Letsosa Neo Motoung received the athletics sportsman of the year award.
“These accolades celebrate their exceptional talent, perseverance and dedication to their respective sporting disciplines.”
Louw said the success at the Greater Boksburg Athletics Competition has not only brought recognition to the school but has also inspired many young aspiring athletes to pursue their sporting dreams.
