BAC youngsters on song at league meeting

The athletes joined hundreds from Central Gauteng in attempt to achieve the qualifying times for the ASA sub-youth track and field championships next month in Potchefstroom.

Zianè de Klerk and Lea Pretorius led the Boksburg Athletic Club (BAC) charge at the third CGA sub-youth track and field league meeting at Germiston Stadium on November 1.

The BAC juniors were among the top contenders in most track events, while Karla Smit displayed incredible talent in the high jump. However, De Klerk and Pretorius were outstanding in their sprint and hurdles events.
