Sweet Deal Properties rolls out big hearts for Boksburg SPCA once again

The community is urged to support the initiative to help the furry friends at the Boksburg SPCA.

For the third consecutive year, the team from Sweet Deal Properties is gearing up to spread cheer and compassion on November 29.

They will be returning to the bustling corner of North Rand and Bartlett roads for their pet food and donation drive in support of the Boksburg SPCA.

Event organiser Candice Barnard said the initiative’s mission remains simple yet vital, which is to collect as much food and support as possible just before the holiday season.

“The SPCA is always in desperate need over this season, and will truly appreciate every donation so that we can help fill the tummies of the animals at the SPCA,” she said.

Adding to the excitement, lucky donors stand a chance to win one of several festive hampers, while food rolls will be sold on the day, with all proceeds going directly to the Boksburg SPCA.

Supporters will also be able to make a monetary donation on the day. No donation is too small.

In an effort to drum up even more community involvement, Sweet Deal Properties has placed collection trolleys at Atlasville Mall Spar and Ravenswood Pick n Pay, hoping to see them overflowing before November 27. “We’re thrilled to see how many people are already filling the trolleys. It’s been a challenging year for many, but our community’s generosity keeps shining through. We appreciate every donation. We’re also grateful for support from ooba Home Loans and Razak Attorneys.”

Last year’s effort brought in an impressive 410kg of dry food, 106 tins of pet food, R1 600 in cash, blankets, and plenty of clothing and shop goods, which is a testament to how much heart Boksburg has for its four-legged friends.

So, whether you’re popping by for a boerie roll or to drop a tin in a trolley, Sweet Deal Properties invites everyone to be part of something meaningful this festive season-because every paw deserves a reason to wag.
