Boksburg High welcomes new leaders for 2026

Enoch Thango, principal of the school, said that Siphosethu Mdluli has been appointed as head girl, while Siphesihle Mashobane takes on the role of head boy.

Boksburg High School has announced its student leadership team for 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, service, and school pride.

Enoch Thango, principal of the school, said that Siphosethu Mdluli has been appointed as head girl, while Siphesihle Mashobane takes on the role of head boy.

“Both learners are well-known among peers and teachers for their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a positive impact at the school.
“The new leaders were presented with their distinctive purple blazers, generously donated once again by local business owner Shabier Ahmed Laher of Peephole.”

Thango said the donation has become a cherished tradition at Boksburg High, symbolising excellence and responsibility among the school’s top student leaders.
He praised the new leadership team, saying, “Siphosethu and Siphesihle have shown exceptional commitment to our school values. We are confident they will inspire their fellow students and lead with integrity throughout the year.”
