Boksburg Brownies invites girls to become members

The Boksburg Brownies offer crafts, games, outdoor fun, and life skills in a safe, supportive environment.

The Boksburg Brownies, part of Girl Guides South Africa, is inviting girls aged 7 to 10 to join their energetic and welcoming troop.

The programme provides a fun and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and form lasting friendships.

The Brownies help girls build confidence, creativity, and leadership skills through a variety of activities, including crafts, games, outdoor adventures, and community service projects.
The Brownie leader of the 1st Boksburg Girl Guides, Colleen Walker, said the programme also encourages girls to discover their talents, try new experiences, and gain life skills while having fun.

“Our troop has been busy with exciting activities this year, but there is still room for more girls who are eager to join.
“The Brownies is a place where girls can shine, learn, and make memories that last a lifetime.”

Meetings are held every Monday from 17:00 to 18:30 at the Guide Hall on Southvale Road.
Parents or guardians who would like to enrol their daughters or anyone interested in training as an adult leader can contact Colleen on 082 372 6582.
