Uniting Reformed Church hosts World Day of Prayer event

The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women, welcoming all to join in prayer and action for peace and justice

In observance of the World Day of Prayer, women from different denominations, cultures and racial backgrounds across town are invited to gather in fellowship for a special prayer session in Reiger Park.

The event, hosted by the Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa, will take place on March 6 at 10:00 at the church on the corner of Roos and John Collins streets.
This year’s prayers will focus on issues affecting citizens, under the theme, ‘Come to me all who are weary’.
